Boston Restaurants

If you’re looking for great places to eat out, then you won’t be disappointed with the selection of Boston restaurants that awaits you in this fantastic city. From laid back steakhouses through to upscale fine dining establishments and everything in between there is sure to be somewhere to get your taste buds going in Boston.

Thanks to its location so close to the coast, and proximity to the main seafood areas of the Chesapeake Bay, Boston restaurants have a particularly good reputation for seafood. From crabs through to swordfish, you will find a wide variety of different fish dishes, and many of the smaller family run Boston restaurants that you find in the waterfront area close to Back Bay offer some of the best meals available in the city as well as being great value for money.

If you are looking for somewhere to enjoy a really special night out, and then make sure you check out some of the fantastic Boston restaurants located in the main hotels in the city center. The Peabody hotel in off Copley Square has a particularly good steak house restaurant that offers traditional American cuisine with an emphasis on hearty goodness combined with a few welcome twists from other cultures around the world.

The large overseas community that lives in Boston thanks to the large student population has brought a great deal of variety to eating out in Boston restaurants, and you can generally find exactly what you are looking for, whether you fancy a Greek meal, and Italian, or even a spicy Indian curry it will be available somewhere in the city.

One thing to particularly look out for whenever you eat out in a Boston restaurant is the lobster. Boston is rumored to be the US city that offers the best lobster of them all, and Harvey’s just off Copley Square is one of the finest restaurants. Harvey’s lobster Thermidor is just as much of a reason for visiting the city as the Freedom trail or the shopping.

The city of Boston is full of several amazing restaurants. There is also large variety when it comes to the types of food. You can find anything from Japanese, Italian, seafood, French, to even hometown American food. The only hard decision you will have is choosing which one to go to. I will explain a few favorites and why exactly they are so popular among residents/tourists.

One of the more elegant restaurants is L’Espalier, which is a French restaurant placed in a townhouse that was built in 1873. The service and quality of the food is outstanding. Whether you choose sautéed organic Vermont veal, grilled partridge, or even the chocolate soufflé you will be very satisfied. Pricing is fairly cheap with an average course price of $40.00. This would be an excellent selection for a nice evening with a loved one perhaps. You won’t have to worry about your car while eating either thanks to the valet parking provided.

If you are wanting a more diverse seating arrangement then the restaurant Fiore is just for you. With the mixture of casual dining, a superb selection of entrees, and great service you can’t go wrong with Fiore. Courses start out at a more reasonable $30. What makes Fiore so unique is the three dining rooms it has. You can have a more elegant experience in the dining room, a relaxed laid back feeling on the rooftop. This is a great hotspot at nights to enjoy a nice meal while looking upon the city lights. Valet parking is also provided at Fiore.

Voted as the city’s overall best restaurant is No. 9 Park. When it comes to Italian and French cuisine you can’t get any better. Its modern appearance and relaxing environment is one of the main reasons people are attracted and come back often. With a subway a few seconds away and its park-side location, the location of the restaurant couldn’t get any better. Barbara Lynch is the owner and has become very successful by using the freshest ingredients on the market and have a very accommodating menu. I recommend No. 9 Park for any occasion as it is sure to satisfy you.
